Theatre Classes
Initial placement in class will be determined at registration and is based on the student’s age, experience and ability.  Entry into some of the theatre classes requires an audition/interview.  The purpose of interview is to ensure that students are placed in the classes that will best help them to grow. They are not intimidating, but relaxed. Interviews are short and students are encouraged to have a parent present.  Please note the level of movement in your class and dress accordingly. See class descriptions below.

Theatre Tuition
$50 first class / $25 each additional class; maximum theatre tuition for individual students is $175/month; maximum theatre tuition per family is $275/month.  Exception:  Triple Threat is a 2 hour class and the tuition is $100 monthly.  This class will be considered the “first class” and additional theatre classes would be $25.

Costumes & Recital Fees
All theatre classes will have the opportunity to perform their work at the end of each semester. Students wishing to participate in the theatre recitals are required to pay a Recital Fee. Students who are enrolled in either a Musical Theatre class or Adventures in Theatre are also required to pay a Costume Fee. Recitals are not mandatory but strongly encouraged.  This provides students with the opportunity to share their hard work with their families, friends and fellow students.  Costume & Recital Fees are due on or before November 1st for the Fall Semester and on or before April 1st for the Spring Semester.  Recital fees & costume fees are non-refundable.

    • Costume fees cover the rental & cleaning costs of the costumes.
    • Musical Theatre:  $50 per costume
    • Adventures in Theatre:  $35 per costume

Recital Fee

    • The recital fees are used to offset the costs of theatre usage, props, programs, awards and other expenses associated with the performance.

All audition expectations will be discussed with parents and students at their respective Information Meetings.  Audition dates/times will be posted at the beginning of each semester.

Tuition for this class varies per production. Individual and family tuition maximums do NOT apply to this class.

Attendance Policy
In order to progress personally as an actor as well as keep up with the class, regular attendance is strongly encouraged.  Absences not only affect the individual, but also affect everyone else in the class.  If you must miss class for any reason, please call and notify the studio office.  There are no refunds for missed classes.

Withdrawal Policy
Enrollment in classes or lessons at Lifesong is through the end of the current season.  The front desk must be notified of withdrawal from any class or lesson prior to the beginning of the month in order to stop tuition for the next month.  All withdrawals are written in our “Add/Drop” book at the time of notification.  Failure to properly notify the front desk will result in tuition continuing to be charged to your account.  By enrolling in a class or private lesson, you have reserved a spot that could be released for someone else.  Thank you for your cooperation and understanding of this policy.
